Nemo — Last updated April 2026
The short version: Nemo does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Your places live on your device and nowhere else — unless you explicitly choose to share them.
Nemo collects no personal information. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, and no tracking of any kind. We do not collect your name, email address, location history, device identifiers, or any other personal data.
All places you save in Nemo are stored locally on your iPhone using on-device storage. This data never leaves your device unless you take an explicit action to share it.
When you tap the Share button, Nemo uploads a snapshot of your selected places to a temporary server. This is the only network request Nemo makes, and it only happens when you actively initiate a share.
Shared data is stored in Cloudflare KV (a key-value store) and is automatically and permanently deleted after 30 days. No personal identifiers are attached to the uploaded data — the server receives only the place data you chose to share.
Anyone with the share link can view your shared places during the 30-day window. After expiration the link stops working and the data is gone.
Nemo uses Apple Maps for map rendering, which is subject to Apple's own privacy policy. No other third-party SDKs, analytics libraries, or advertising networks are included in the app.
Nemo does not collect data from anyone, including children under 13. There is nothing to collect.
If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new date at the top.
