Where is my data stored?

All your places are stored locally on your iPhone. Nemo has no accounts and no cloud sync.

Can I back up my places?

Yes - use the Export button in the options menu to save your places as a GeoJSON file. You can keep a copy in Files, iCloud Drive, or anywhere else you like.

How do I share places?

Tap the Share button to create a link. The recipient can open it to import your places into Nemo, or view them on an interactive map at nemo.town - no app required.

What happens when someone opens my link?

If they have Nemo, the places open directly in the app. If they don't, they see your places on an interactive web map at nemo.town with emoji markers, titles, and notes. They can also add their own spots and reshare. Links expire after 30 days.

Can I see a place's address or phone number?

When you save a place from search, Nemo automatically captures the address, website, and phone number from Apple Maps. You can see these in the edit card - tap any saved place to view them. The website and phone number are tappable.

What languages does Nemo support?

Nemo is available in 11 languages: English, Spanish, Japanese, French, German, Chinese (Simplified), Portuguese (Brazilian), Korean, Russian, Hindi, and Dutch.
